Formerly known as The Frathouse, Impulse Nightclub is under new management. The bar is sleek and silver and the dancefloor and its accompanying techno music draw you in. Seats are at the bar or the lounge.

The Frat is the House to party

If you have not been - you need to what a fun place to hang out and drink, dance and enjoy a great drag show. MUST GO!!!

First to Review - November 23, 2005 - Visited: May 2005

Frat House has a great outdoor patio where you can sit on summer nights and have a view of the city. (The Des Moines area is 500,000 people and growing rapidly.) Frat House attracts a younger crowd and drag queens. If you like something spicier, Red Light is the after hours bar right next door, open 1 - 5 a.m. and specializes in swingers.
