With such guests as Richard Nixon and Mae West, Hotel Fort is one of the most historically rich hotels in downtown Des Moines. And while it has a lot of history, it is not stuck in the past, providing luxurious amenities for its guests.

Charming, super friendly, courteous & helpful staff. Excellent restaurant- D'Jango, and cozy yet classy 'English Pub-like' Chequers Lounge. Complimentary London Taxi (yes, actually a London Taxi) shuttle is awesome.
